The floor stopped being uniform, and the price list did not keep up

A gaming café used to be a room of identical PCs, and one hourly rate covered it. The floor most Indian owners actually run now is a mix: a wall of PCs, two or three consoles on sofas, a racing rig, maybe a VR bay. Group sessions that end together

Consoles are social. Four people on one sofa, or two consoles pushed together for a six-player evening, is the normal Saturday. Sessions that started together can be ended together, producing one bill for the group rather than a queue of separate transactions while everyone else waits.
