What’s new in Respawna

Luna, in the corner. The Ask AI pill is now Luna: her face and her name. She waves when she first offers help, stands up when the panel opens, and gives a thumbs up once a change you approved has gone through. In Hindi she is still Luna.

Same rules, same switches. Shop Setup's IQ tab and each staff card say Luna where they said Ask AI. Switch her off and she sleeps for the whole café; switch her back and she returns. Owners always have her while she is on.

Ask AI in Hindi. A switch at the top of the panel, EN or हिंदी. In Hindi it answers in plain Devanagari, keeps words like invoice and UPI as they are said at the counter, and remembers the choice on that till. In English it follows you into Hindi or Hinglish if that is how you type.

Answers you can act on. Anything with more than one step arrives as numbered steps in a card, and a bold screen name such as Billing or Shop Setup is a link to that screen, in either language.

A panel that behaves like the rest of the console. Dark or light with your theme, Enter sends and Shift+Enter breaks a line, Stop halts an answer mid-sentence and keeps what arrived, and New chat clears the transcript.

Screens keep themselves current. Live Ops, Billing, Members, Events, Food & Drinks, Shop Setup and the member's own app all update as things happen rather than when somebody reloads. Changes that land together arrive as one update, so a busy evening does not flicker.

It keeps working when the connection does not. A slower check runs underneath the live feed, so a counter screen left open all evening stays current even if the café wifi drops the connection for a while.

A rig you can move a booking to says which. Every candidate is a row now, marked free in green, in session in red, or here now in blue for the rig the booking already holds. Busy rigs stay on the list, because the counter often knows a session is about to end.

Booking on a phone. The member's booking screen is rebuilt for the screen it is actually used on, and the rig a booking already sits on is no longer dimmed as though something were wrong with it.

A lock agent that goes quiet is noticed. A paired PC that stops reporting now turns red on its own, and one that comes back turns green again, without waiting for the page to be reopened.

Members book a rig from their phone. They pick a day, a time and a game type, and the board only offers seats that are genuinely free. Booking is on the Pro plan.

The terms are yours to set. Opening and closing hours, separate weekend hours if you keep them, how many days ahead people may book, how late they may arrive before the seat goes back, and how long before a slot a booking can still be cancelled free.

A deposit that comes back. Take a percentage of the quoted session to hold a seat, or take nothing at all and hold it free. A cancellation inside your own window returns the deposit to the member's wallet.

The floor knows who is coming. Live Ops shows the bookings due, so the counter can seat somebody without looking anything up, and a finished booking hands its rig straight back to the floor.

A rig somebody is playing on is never offered as free. Availability counts the sessions running right now as well as the bookings already taken, so a floor that is full reads as full.

Changing the date is instant. The booking board loads the whole week at once, so moving between days is immediate instead of a wait on every tap.

A café that changes plan keeps its promises. Dropping off Pro stops new bookings being taken. Every booking already paid for can still be seated, cancelled and refunded.

Every section can be switched off, per person. Each member of staff gets their own switches for the nine console sections and the assistant. Turning one off removes it from their sidebar and closes the screens underneath it, bookmarks included. It applies the moment you press it, and an owner can never be restricted.

The assistant can be switched off for the whole café. One switch removes the Ask AI capsule for everybody, and it takes effect on the press rather than waiting for a save.

Photograph your price board. Point a camera at the card already on your wall and it reads the grid back · durations down, head counts across. You check every number before anything is saved, and it declines to invent a price it could not read.

Analytics is five views, not one crowded screen. Overview, Profit & Loss, Revenue Trends, Traffic and an Activity Log, each on its own, with one date range across all of them and an All Time setting when you want the whole story.

Switching a section no longer reloads the page. The strips across Analytics and Shop Setup change instantly, and the address bar still keeps your place so a link to a particular view works.

Setting a café up on a phone. First-run setup is built for the screen it is usually done on, rather than a desktop page shrunk to fit.

Your team, on cards. Invite by email and the person sets their own password. Revoking access is reversible and says so, and removing somebody permanently shows what they handled before it asks you to confirm.

The light theme lost a dark edge. Every page in the console carried a dark strip down its right-hand side on the light theme.

A plan nobody is on can be removed. Deleting a membership plan now explains itself when the answer is no, instead of failing quietly.

Shop Health, in plain language. Analytics answers what came in, what went out and what is left. The profit line stays locked until you have actually logged some costs, because revenue with no costs against it is not profit however it is labelled.

One bill, two payment methods. Take half in cash and half by UPI on the same invoice. The split re-tallies as you type and the invoice records both amounts rather than rounding them into one line.

Expenses that repeat themselves. Mark rent or any other monthly cost as recurring once and it appears in the ledger each month on its own, instead of being re-entered from memory.

An assistant that knows the product. Ask a question about the software and get an answer on the spot, both on the site and inside the console.

Invoices and the ledger fold into months. Both group by month, and the date filter now works at three levels of detail rather than one.

Every payment method has its own colour. Cash, UPI and card are told apart at a glance in the billing list.

A bill rung up after midnight carries the right date. Invoices raised in the small hours could be dated to the day before.

Members sign themselves up. Put the code on the counter. A player scans it, lands on your café's own page and creates their account there, with no one at the till taking their details down.

The plan you are on is visible in the console. Every page carries it, so what you are paying for is never something you have to go and look up.

Plan limits hold where nothing can go around them. The station count on each pricing card is now enforced by the database itself rather than by one screen. It refuses the next station and never removes one you already run, so a café that grew past its limit during a trial keeps every station it built.

Analytics shows what your plan includes. What you can see in the console now matches the line the pricing page draws, rather than showing everything and stopping at the last step.

Memberships you have already sold keep working. Plan limits apply to new memberships only, and never reach back into the ones your members are already holding.

Players can message the café on WhatsApp. A contact button on your café's page. It is off until you publish a number, so nothing appears until you decide it should.

Sheets follow your finger. Drawers and sheets move with the drag, can be flicked shut, and leave the way they arrived. Every press answers the moment you touch it rather than after you let go.

The console asks before it deletes. Destructive actions confirm properly instead of going through on a single tap.

A 14-day free trial on every plan. Starter and Pro both begin free for fourteen days with no card taken. Nothing renews by itself and nothing is auto-debited afterwards, because there is no card on file to charge.

Upgrade takes the money. Pay for your plan from inside the console by UPI, card or netbanking. The café unlocks as soon as the payment clears, and everything you set up is exactly where you left it.

A café on a plan billed from day one is built ready to pay. Pick a plan that starts paid and your café is created and waiting at its payment screen, rather than opening as a trial it was never on.

The upgrade screen states the price it is about to charge. It reads in the same colours as the pricing page and names the amount, the cycle and what happens next before you press anything.

Tighter permissions across the console and the site. A pass over what each request is allowed to reach, plus stricter limits on how often the public forms can be called.

Green means running, on Live Ops. A station in session reads as green from across the room instead of in the same colour as everything else.

The menu is one line per item. Fewer boxes and less space per row, so more of the menu is on screen at once.

The invoice header fits, and the invoice signs off. A long café name could push the header off the edge of the page it was printed on.

GST invoices that follow Rule 46. Tax is computed and stored the way the rule requires it shown, so the CGST and SGST split, the HSN and SAC codes and the place of supply all print on the invoice itself.

Your own tax codes. Enter the HSN and SAC codes your café actually uses once, in Shop Setup, and every invoice after that carries them.

The console fits a phone. Floor navigation is a drawer instead of a cramped dock, Shop Setup works one-handed, and analytics tables stopped hiding half their columns on a small screen.

First run sets the café up rather than describing it. The opening walkthrough does the work with you instead of explaining what you will have to go and find for yourself.

Pricing opens at the rig you are standing next to. Tap a station and its price list opens on that station, rather than at the top of the list for you to hunt through.

Expenses read as one list. Every card is the same shape now, with the date sitting beside the amount instead of below it.

The first owner at a new café can claim it. The very first signup could fail to take ownership of the café it had just created.

The Upgrade button stays on screen. It could strand itself off the edge of the trial banner on a narrow phone.

A frosted-glass finish across the product. The console, the member portal and every sign-in screen share one translucent material, so depth tells you what sits above what instead of flat panels stacked on flat panels.

Off-site backups you control. Export a full logical dump of your café's data on your own schedule, to storage you own, so the backup is not only ours to hold.

Pricing as a matrix. Players across, durations down, days collapsed, so a floor charging different rates on different rigs is one readable table instead of a wall of rows.

A tab shows what is on it, not only what it comes to, so a customer questioning the total can be shown the items rather than asked to trust it.

Your café's own page reads its own facts. A café's address on respawna.com serves that café's page with its real details, instead of the sales pitch aimed at owners.

Sign-in says why it failed. A refused login explains the reason instead of returning a blank card and leaving you to guess.

Billiards and snooker are not video games. Cue sports carry their own icon on the floor now, rather than a gamepad.

Tighter permissions across the console. Staff see exactly what their role allows and nothing beyond it, and a subdomain that is not a café returns a proper not-found instead of a login screen.

Adding to an open tab no longer says the tab was not found. The tab was there the whole time, the error was wrong, and it stopped a sale at the counter.

Open tabs. Ending a session parks it as an open tab instead of forcing a bill there and then, and you generate or discard the invoice later from Billing.

Charges onto a parked tab. Add snacks, drinks or a one-off custom charge to a tab after the seat has already been given up.

Merge tabs by dragging one onto another. When a group that arrived separately wants to leave on one bill, drag their tabs together rather than re-entering every item.

The floor is colour-coded by what it is doing. Live Ops cards carry a state-coded game capsule and a player count, so occupied, idle and overrunning read from across the room.

A shorter start card. Starting a session is a compact card with full-width Start and Set pricing, and snacks moved onto the live session card where they are actually wanted.

Everything responds faster. The lag after every action is gone across every screen, and sign-in checks are verified locally instead of costing a round trip.

An empty floor says so. A café with no stations set up yet sees a proper empty state instead of a preview of devices it does not own.

Your trial banner shows the real end date. Counted in calendar days on Indian time, with the date stated outright and Upgrade as a proper button rather than a link you have to go looking for.

Pages load a lot lighter. The icon font went from 3.8 MB to 313 KB, which is felt most on a counter tablet running on café wifi.

Racing games get a steering wheel. Driving and racing setups no longer show a helmet icon that belonged to something else.

Only the onboarded email can claim a café. Closed a window in which someone other than the owner could have claimed a newly created café first.

Reset your password by email. A forgotten password is a link in your inbox rather than a message to support and a wait.

Show and hide on every password field. Type it, check it, then hide it again, on every screen that asks for one.

Branded emails that work on a phone. The trial confirmation and the note telling you your café is ready are properly designed and readable on a small screen.

A shorter signup. Your email is pre-filled from the trial link and the duplicate WhatsApp field is gone, leaving mobile as the one number we ask for.

The first person to sign up owns the café. Ownership is granted on that first signup instead of waiting on a separate step.

Enquiry details left the café console. Trial enquiries carry personal contact details, and they are no longer visible from inside a café's own console.

Group checkout. Bill several rigs onto a single invoice, so a group that played across four machines settles once at the counter.

Monthly reports and an invoice register. Export the month as PDF or CSV, invoice register included, so handing figures to an accountant is a download rather than an evening.

Discounts you can actually edit. Change a discount after the fact, apply one at the point of sale, and delete a voided invoice instead of living with it.

Reset a false start. A session started on the wrong rig can be discarded outright, rather than billed and then voided.

Edit and retire stations. Change a station's details, and remove rigs you no longer run without leaving a hole in the floor.

Long sessions keep counting. A session that runs past your longest priced rung carries on charging correctly instead of capping there.

Add-ons recorded line by line. Snacks and extras are stored as their own rows on the session, so an invoice can itemise them.

Self-serve setup. Ask for a trial, click the link in your email, and your café is built automatically with no human in the loop, ready in minutes.

The live floor. Every station on one screen, with sessions you start, pause and end, and a timer per seat that stops when you pause it.

Memberships and prepaid wallets. Balances are an append-only ledger in whole paise, so a refund is recorded as a reversal rather than an edit and the month still ties out.

Food and drink on the session. Snacks go onto the tab attached to the seat, and settle as one itemised bill at the end.

A member portal. Your regulars check their own balance, history and membership from their phone instead of asking at the counter.

A first-run walkthrough. The console opens on a guided setup rather than an empty screen you have to interpret.

A free trial with no card. The trial starts the day your café goes live, not the day you enquired about it.
